Isabelle Jean-Charles

MSc, Research assistant

I joined GEDB in April 2020. My work will focus on examining impact mechanisms between industrial sectors and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

After completing a master in Mathematics and a MSc in Financial Engineering at the International University of Monaco, I worked 10 years in the Market Finance sector as a quantitative modeler. My keen interests in Environmental and Social Justice made me pursue Climate Change resilience and I went back to school and obtained a Master in Adaptation to Climate change at Saclay University (Paris). I had my first experiences in this new sector at the UNFCCC in Bonn, The Global Environment Facility (GEF) in Antigua, the San Juan Bay Estuary Program in Puerto Rico and at the E3Mlab in Athens. My overall interest is how to adapt our economic models to a sustainable and desirable future for our society and nature.
