Vacancy: Research assistants

The Global Economic Dynamics and the Biosphere Program (GEDB) is looking for 1–2 research assistants with a Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree to help us advance a range of new research initiatives.

We are currently looking for 1-2 research assistants with a Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree to help us advance a range of new research initiatives.

The work will be distributed across the activities of GEDB in particular those focusing on finance and global health in the context of global environmental change so applicants should be prepared to combine multiple tasks of possibly varying nature. Candidates with strong analytical skills (quantitative or qualitative) are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be EU residents to be eligible for the position.

Tasks

The assistants will work closely with our team of interdisciplinary researchers to compile literature (scientific and “grey” literature), identify, amass, and analyse relevant data and summarize important work related to the specific topic in focus. The assistants may also be required to help organize, and participate in, international workshops.

Duration

100% for 6 months (with possible extension), starting from December 1st 2019 (start date is negotiable)

Salary

According to agreement.
